i dont know what your talking about with michael jai white his acting is so junky its not the 80s anymore when a body builder body was acceptable with horrible acting. adrien brody was a total badass he showed real military strategy and tactics which is not portrayed in many movies like this one. but i will say avp-r did suck dog nuts. but i think this was just as good as the first predator maybe better i was very impressed with all the actors except topher grace but he was actually tolerable in this movie.

Who the hell is Michael Jai White? Adrian Brody was probably picked over him, because Brody can actually act. Anyways, the film budget was $40 mil, and the movie made over $125 mil worldwide. They basically tripled the profit… So much for losing money, huh?

I didn’t see why the bother of intending to ignore the AVP films. After seeing the film it seems like humans were takin off Earth because of the ending of AVP-R and Predators don’t wanna risk their technology ending up in human hands again, not to mention it would be better for them to keep a low profile by takin the humans off Earth on place them on their own turf to hunt. I liked all the Predator films, even AVP films though i liked the first one more than AVP-R despite its PG-13 rating. But if you ask me, Rodriguez’s Super Predator looked as he put it cartoonish as the Predators seen in the AVP films. Not to mentioned the Predators still used the longer gaunlet blades like the Predators in the AVP film. Atleast the Classic Predator looked better, but not as great as the original in Predator. Bottom line i don’t see why ignoring the events of the AVP films when nothin is mentioned about Predator 2′s events which this film is intended to follow after. Besides i always thought the avp films were intended as crossover films mostly , at the sametime serve as sequels in the Predator franchise & kinda Prequels to the Alien franchise.
