We spoke recently about the Norwegian mother tongue being used extensively (with English Subs) in the prequel to the original, sweet Sci-Fi horror candy, “The Thing”,  just about to get filming in British Columbia and Toronto.

Who better to speak the words of Norway then actual live Norwegians? Many have just been signed to the cast and we find them good. Dennis Storhøi (The 13th Warrior), Trond Espen Seim (The Frost), Jørgen Langhelle (Svik), Stig Henrik Hoff, Jan Gunnar Røise, Kristofer Hivju (Manhunt) and Jo Adrian Haavind are getting into the fray. Man, Norwegians have cool names. Thanks Bloody Disgusting for the word.

Well you just lost me there. I don’t enjoy reading movies. While you read it you loose track of the scenes and not only that you have to be a speed reader to keep track. If I want to read something I buy a book. Making movies with subtitles is the worst idea producers ever had.
On a different note I don’t feel like I’ll be missing much. We already know the ending of this movie by the way the first one started. Everyone died the only survivors were the two people in the helicopter and the dog. Then the helicopter crashed killing both of them.
