New Poster For District 9 Reveals: No Saucers In My Backyard

District 9 is a Sci-Fi film with a message. The more  you diverge in appearance, attitude or culture from the majority archetype, the more you will be hated. In District 9, aliens from some distant world arrive on Earth and are forced to remain. The reception we give these aliens here on Earth is none too friendly.

Obviously, if real aliens landed and proved themselves either harmless or friendly, we would treat them like rock stars. District 9 wants to illustrate that many of us feel that there are human aliens living among us now.

We have a new District 9 poster for you, showing a badass saucer. District 9’s new trailer hits Wednesday. Directed by Neill BlomKamp and produced by none other than Peter Jackson. In theatres August 14th.
