New Planet 51 Poster

The CG animated movie “Planet 51″ has a pretty nifty premise: what if there are other alien life out there, and they regard us as the “alien invaders”? The premise actually sounds a bit like “Battle for Terra”, except I believe “Planet 51″ is all comedy, while “Terra” is all “human sucks!” with a serious face. New poster for the movie after the jump.

The inhabitants of Planet 51 live in fear of alien invasion. Their paranoia is realized when an astronaut arrives from Earth. Befriended by a young resident, he has to avoid capture in order to recover his spaceship and try to return home.

Featuring the voices of Dwayne Johnson, Seann William Scott, Jessica Biel, Justin Long, Gary Oldman, and John Cleese. Scott and Johnson are actually reuniting after starring in “The Rundown” together. Jorge Blanco and Javier Abad directs.

The humans invade November 20.
