New Creature Images From Splice

The whole leadup to “Splice”, a creature feature produced by Guillermo Del Toro and directed by Vincenzo Natali, totally whizzed by me. However, though I was lax in my Sci-Fi duties, I swear I’ll make up for it.

“Splice” stars Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley and recounts the horrific tale of two scientists that mess with natures evolutionary processes only to create a hybrid creature both beautiful and nasty. Adrien Brody will soon star in “Predators”, a casting that has drawn cries of horror from our dear readers. Let me say that at first glance it seems like an odd choice but Brody does have an academy award and Robert Rodriquez is no fool. As a fellow big nose recipient, I’m going to give Adrien the benefit of the doubt until I see some film.

Now, back to “Splice”, I have for you some pics of the creature (with kitty!) and some other shots from the film. Some fantastic design work here. “Splice” could be a sleeper. Thanks Bloody Disgusting for the views.
