Neil Gaiman is all kinds of awesome. Where many writers are awesome in parts or in bits or perhaps even in shades, Neil has all the awesome bases fully covered. While you nod in agreement over that last proclamation, let me happily inform you that Mr. Gaiman has reportedly written an episode of Doctor Who! How’s that grab you bucky?

Neil his ownself dropped the news via the British Sci-Fi Mag SFX:

As anyone who’s read my blog knows, I’m a big fan of a certain long-running British SF TV series. One that started watching — from behind the sofa — when I was three. And while I know it’s cruel to make you wait for things, in about 14 months from now, which is to say, NOT in the upcoming season but early in the one after that, it’s quite possible that I might have written an episode. And if I had, it would originally have been called “The House of Nothing”. But it definitely isn’t called that any more.

Well that’s brilliant. It’s aways away but I’m sure we’ll have some Neil smushed someplace in the unforeseeable in between. Is it just me or does Neil resemble Doctor Who or how we may imagine him to really look like? Ok, thanks i09 for dropping this cool news. Scificool loves you Neil.
