2000AD’s official “Dredd” trailer doesn’t premiere until this Thursday, but that hasn’t stopped Machinima, who got the exclusive, from releasing 10 seconds of it during their 2012 Comic Con preview Youtube video. Yeah, you don’t really want to watch all 5 minutes and change of some dude standing in front of a green screen making jokes, so let’s just go with the 10 seconds of “Dredd”. Feel free to skip the rest.
In a violent, futuristic city where the police have the authority to act as judge, jury and executioner, a cop teams with a trainee to take down a gang that deals the reality-altering drug, SLO-MO.
Starring Karl Urban as Dredd and Lena Headey as the woman who tries to kill him. I’m willing to bet she doesn’t succeed, though.
Doesn’t look TOO bad…
