It looks like Steven Spielberg is going to be giving us more aliens. On TV this time around though.

Apparently TNT has put an order in for an as of yet unnamed alien invasion show from DreamWorks TV which will be centered around the aftermath of a global invasion by what I’m guessing to be some bad ETs. I’m picturing the tag line of this thing to be ‘ETs Go Home’ (get it?) and the cleverly done initial promos will feature ever so slight glimpses of the invasion without even showing the aliens so as to get us curious to what they’ll look like.

Just guessing here. Anyway, apparently the guy who wrote Saving Private Ryan is behind this as well so at least we know it’ll have…um…lot’s of dying? Thanks to The Hollywood Reporter for this news.
