Ming-Na and Elyse Levesque Join Stargate Universe
Sci-Fi TV News, Stargate: Universe TV Series — By Nix on February 25, 2009
Looks like the cast of Stargate Universe is filling up nicely. The latest additions, according to EW, has Ming-Na (ER, pictured below) and Elyse Levesque (Smallville, pictured left) joining the cast of the show, the third in the Stargate franchise, which follows a group of soldiers and civilians stranded on an Ancients ship in the far reaches of the Universe, and must find their way back home.
EW has more on their characters:
Ming-Na will play Camille Wray, an HR bigwig and the highest-ranking survivor. Levesque, meanwhile, stars as Chloe Armstrong, the wild and immature daughter of a U.S. Senator.
They join a cast that already includes Robert Carlyle, Lou Diamond Phillips, Alaina Huffman, Justin Louis, David Blue, Jamil Walker Smith and Brian J. Smith.
I still don’t buy that Robert Carlyle is the male lead, but who knows. The whole idea behind Universe is baffling enough, so anything’s possible I suppose.

I cannot believe this. I think the lesbian characters are going to ruin the show.
@ Rachel
How ignorant is that?!?!?
tell me about it… they must have though that the series wouldn't do good without gay characters. hmmm that must be the reason why Stargate SG1 only lasted “11 seasons” they did have any *rolls eyes* get real people not everyone like gays on their shows. ANYWAY I just watched the first ep and what a sham… it seems to be that the producers did a rip off of several shows in one… Battlestar Galaticia, Lost in Space, a bad voyager ep, SGA, SG1 and more.
gay lover much?
