Mad Max 4 With Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy?

That is apparently the word being passed to E! Online today. George Miller, director of the previous Mad Max films (and Happy Feet) is deep in the process of auditions and is perhaps leaning toward Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy (Black Hawk Down, Band Of Brothers, RockNRolla) for the big roles in the film.

I’m assuming Tom is or has auditioned for the part of Max himself but apparently the actors aren’t being told what they are auditoning for. I always thought Gerard Butler would be a good choice for Max but Tom Hardy has a pretty amazing resume. A new Max movie is way overdue. Can’t wait. Thanks to ComingSoon for the scoop.
