Lost’s Elizabeth Mitchell Joins V Pilot

Looks like the folks at the new V TV show is really stocking up on its genre actresses. First Morena Baccarin was cast as the alien female lead on the show, and now Lost’s Elizabeth Mitchell has landed a gig on the pilot. Looks like it’s just for the pilot, though, and not as a regular.

I sure hope this doesn’t mean what I think it does: Lost heroine Elizabeth Mitchell has been cast in ABC’s eagerly anticipated V pilot.

Are you thinking what I’m thinking — that this confirms Juliet as the major character who gets bumped off at this season’s end? Yeah, I kinda thought you might be with me on that one.

However, my moles at ABC and Warner Bros. (which is producing V) say we need to chill, because Mitchell is just a guest star on V.

Maybe they can get ex-Lost actress Michelle Rodriguez to book the show. Or how about Cynthia Watros? Or hey, here’s an idea, how about Maggie Grace (below)? It’s about time Maggie Grace got another regular TV show.
