No, it’s not a movie about J.J. Abrams and the boys and how they convinced someone to fund a movie about a giant monster attacking New York City from the POV of a shaky camcorder. It’s actually an honest-to-goodness sci-fi movie about robots run amok. Or at least, one robot.
Well, it’s kind of hard to tell when it comes to the film’s actual plot, since there isn’t all that much about it. The poster looks groovy, though, and the “concept teaser” looks promising. The film is set to star Jenni Fontana, James Nardini, Caroline Rich, Corbin Timbrook, Skoti Collins, and will be written and directed by Irish filmmaker Ruairi Robinson.
Also, apparently no one is quite sure if this is a short film (Robinson is known for his short films) or a full-length feature film, which would be his first if that’s the case.
