Leo DiCaprio to Star in Nolan’s Inception

Post-”The Dark Knight”, Christopher Nolan probably could have made a big-budget movie starring his aunt and uncle and the studio wouldn’t have batted an eyelid, but getting Leonardo DiCaprio to front your sci-fi action epic probably isn’t such a bad idea, either. Not a whole lot is known about Nolan’s “Inception” yet, but it is being called a “sci-fi actioner”, so that’s a plus.

News of DiCaprio joining Nolan’s “Inception” comes from Variety, who describes the film this way:

Script has been kept under wraps but the studio calls it a contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind.

Okay, just as long as the “architecture of the mind” involves cool action set pieces ala “The Dark Knight”, I’m there on opening day.
