Lena Headey, Queen Gorgo herself, has joined the cast of Ethan Hawke’s sci-fi mystery flick “Vigilandia”. I say “mystery” because no one seems to know what the Universal film is all about, and writer/director James DeMonaco isn’t telling. Yet.
So yeah, that’s pretty much all we know about the movie so far. It’s called “Vigilandia”, and Hawke was the first actor signed to the lead. Headey now joins him.
This is actually not Headey’s first foray into sci-fi. She played the mother of all badasses on the TV show “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”, and she’s the big bad villain in the new “Dredd” movie. Hopefully her role in “Vigilandia” will be more “Connor Chrnoicles” and less “Dredd”, but that’s purely my personal preference.
