Legend of the Seeker Adds a Vulcan, an Angel, and a Football Brat to Season 2

As the Sam Raimi-produced fantasy show “Legend of the Seeker” gears up for its second season, it’s adding some new faces to the roster — “Star Trek: Enterprise’s” sexy Vulcan Jolene Blalock will be joining the show as its new heavy, while former “Angel” castmember Charisma Carpenter will have a guest spot on the show’s Season 2 premiere episode. “Friday Night Lights’” Aimee Teegarden will also be checking in.

Here’s your first look at Carpenter in “Legend of the Seeker”. She’ll be playing Triana, described as “a feisty Mord-Sith warrior women who regularly make Richard Cypher’s life miserable.”

“Friday Night Lights’” Aimee Teegarden will be guest starring in a future episode as a Confessor who gets between the show’s two leads, Richard (Craig Horner) and Kahlan (Bridget Regan).

The most substantial casting is that of Jolene Blalock, late of the canceled “Star Trek: Enterprise”, who will be the show’s new villain now that the hero has taken down the old one at the end of the previous season’s finale. Blalock’s character is described as “a mysterious Sister of the Dark with some serious magical powers”, who will be attempting to interfere in our hero’s quest to stop the dark forces from rising. Bad girl, bad girl.
