Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths Teaser Trailer

Wow, I hadn’t even heard of this one until the teaser trailer showed up over at IGN. Of course, DC is pumping these out on a pretty regular basis, so who can keep up with it all? It’s another DC animated movie called “Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths” based on an old “Justice League of America” comic book storyline, and features a good Lex Luthor crossing over to our universe to ask for assistance from the Justice League. It seems in his world, on a parallel Earth, the League is made up of superpowered criminals.

In Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, a “good” Lex Luthor arrives from an alternate universe to recruit the Justice League to help save his Earth from the Crime Syndicate, a gang of villainous characters with virtually identical super powers to the Justice League. What ensues is the ultimate battle of good versus evil in a war that threatens both planets and, through a diabolical plan launched by Owlman, puts the balance of all existence in peril.

Featuring the voice work of Mark Harmon as Superman, James Woods as Owlman, Chris Noth as Lex Luthor, William Baldwin as Batman, Gina Torres as Super Woman and Bruce Davison as the President.

The movie is co-directed by DC mainstays Lauren Montgomery (“Wonder Woman” and “Green Lantern: First Flight”) and Sam Liu (who most recently directed “Superman/Batman: Public Enemies”), with Bruce Timm (the animated “Batman” shows) producing.

Warner Home Video will release the movie straight to DVD in the Spring of next year.
