Joss Whedon’s DollHouse Officially Back For Next Season
Dollhouse TV Series, Sci-Fi TV News — By endymi0n on May 16, 2009 |Variety has reported that Eliza Dushku will thankfully be back on television next year in “Dollhouse”. “Dollhouse” is about a group of people, mainly consisting of hot girls it seems, that get themselves programmed to be other people for secret agenty and other purposes usually involving Eliza in leather or lingerie. This may be a selective memory of mine as I am neuronically challenged this morning (martini’s and scrabble last night in an epic battle of three letter words).
Joss Whedon needed a bit of warm up time I think with Dollhouse. I think he’s hit his stride. Go Joss go. Thanks Variety.
Nix here
Just wanted to add to endy’s post that Fox has ordered the show for a guaranteed 13-episode second season. This could mean the show may get picked up for the rest of the year if ratings are better than they were in the first year. Also, Variety adds that the show is likely to stay in its Friday night timeslot (not a good thing), and that part of the negotiations to bring the show back was a drastically reduced production budget.
