Josh Hartnett to Star in Paul McGuigan’s Tomorrow

I’ve been waiting for “Push” director Paul McGuigan to do something since “Push”, and looks like I’ve gotten my wish. Check out the press release below for his new movie “Tomorrow”, which like “Push” sounds like it’s got one nifty (albeit somewhat familiar) premise.

Worldview Entertainment has teamed up with producer Mark Williams and Zero Gravity Management to finance the sci-fi thriller, “Tomorrow”, which will be directed by Paul McGuigan and star Josh Hartnett. McGuigan is a renowned UK filmmaker who has directed several fan favorites, most recently the sci-fi action movie, “Push”. Hartnett has starred in several blockbuster hits over the last decade including “Pearl Harbor” with Ben Affleck and Ridley Scott’s intense war film, “Black Hawk Down”.

“Tomorrow” is a sci-fi thriller in the vein of “Memento” about a man who travels back and forth through time and space, trying to prevent the murder of his family. Written by Michael Gould, the film is scheduled to commence principal photography later this year in Louisiana. The film will be the third collaboration for McGuigan and Harnett who have previously worked together on “Lucky Number Slevin” with Bruce Willis, Lucy Liu and Morgan Freeman and “Wicker Park” with Rose Byrne and Diane Kruger.

Simon Crowe’s SC Films International will handle foreign sales.

“Tomorrow” is based on a script by Michael Gould.
