Jonah Hill Blows It, Out of Transformers 2

Seriously, what kind of idiot do you have to be, or have as your management, to allow negotiations to join an uber movie like “Transformers 2″ to “break down”? That’s exactly what happened with actor Jonah Hill, aka the fat kid sidekick with the curly hair, who was recently in talks to join Michael Bay’s massive sequel. What happened, did he demand more than his current status in Hollywood could afford?

Entertainment Weekly, who broke the news in the first place, resolves it:

Transformers 2 negotiations between Jonah Hill and DreamWorks have broken down, and the Superbad star is no longer expected play a sidekick to Shia LaBeouf in the upcoming sequel from director Michael Bay.

Word is that he will appear in a cameo role in Ben Stiller’s Night at the Museum 2 for director Shawn Levy.

Wow. He traded a plum, memorable role in “Transformers 2″ for “Night at the Museum 2″. Seriously?

Dude, what were you THINKING? You should have done “Transformers 2″ even if they wanted to pay you in peanuts. The film on your resume alone will keep you working for years to come. Idiot.

    There is no reason to include this man in any movie when Seth Rogen exists. Funnier, better looking and seems to be a far nicer person. Every time Hill is onscreen I come away with the impression that he's a gigantic asshole.

    He's hilariously funny/talented and his role in T2 would have benefited the movie more than he. Micheal Bay is a no talent hack and his movies totally blow. The only thing I find sad is that Mr. Hill had entertained the idea of being in this crap film to begin with...

    I think he would've been funny in Transformers 2 as a role like Bernie Mac had, just short and enough to keep you going, as a sidekick...no. Whatever he wants to do. Maybe he doesn't want more and more films to do, as a famous person you have no inner life that can be private, and maybe his already is private, so maybe he wants to keep it that way, who knows.
