Perhaps if viewers started boycotting stations that don’t back their programming properly. At least have the decency to draw things to a conclusion!

Their single minded ratings / advertising revenue mindset is typical of 1980s greed and hopefully some of these dinosaurs working as media execs will meet their extinction. Preferably soon.

Grey’s Anatomy in space that must been the most idiotic line to promote a program i ever heard.
I think if i haved read that before starting to watch it, then i never would have seen this show.

I completely agree. I’m dying to find out the conclusion of the mission.

I might watch network TV if they had more quality programming like this. But they insist on catering to double-digit IQs. This show is so rich with exploring and overcoming human frailty. Brilliant! But now it’s gone as soon as I found out it existed.

But I guess ABC wants to replace it with something more appealing to trailer park mentality.

Guess I’ll give up on watching network TV again if they don’t bring it back.

Just watch the remaining episodes on line.. It’s retarded for them to stop airing the show just as they were about to reveal key plot elements. Episode 9 explains a lot. Thanks ABC for being a douche..

I’m watching Defying Gravity and I love it!
I watched like two episodes of Greys Anatomy absolutely hated it!

Who the freakin’ hell compared them?! For they need a slap in the face, as DG is nothing like that boring piece of nonesense. If your going to give up on on a show, cut Stargate Universe loose. That’s something people seem to actually want gone!

I am a 57 year old/f, who knows what she likes in SF…I’ve been reading and watching all sorts-and sll the great ones-and I KNOW DEFYING GRAVITY is great. Please reconsider and return it for the series run.

Defying Gravity is bloody brilliant. I love the cast, believe that the acting is unbelievable, and am elated that Laura Harris is a part of it. I had enjoyed her work on Dead Like Me. Ron Livingston is brilliant as usual and I am particularly impressed at the new faces I am not familiar with…
The show is heart-warming, human, unpredictable and the editing is superb. I love how they go from what is happening in their real-time to back in their training days. It keeps it all fresh… PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL :)

What I see it as is a show set in space that focusses on the characters too. And what I like about it is they don't usually make the mistakes that so many shows before have made – for example, the ” Oh I have a big bad secret so we're going to make it last for the whole damned series before I admit it to anyone.” e.g., Jenn not seeing the object, yeah it lasted for 2 episodes… but that's about the extent of it, or Zoey and Donner admitting they were having the same dream. That's part of the reason I respect this show. They know they have a great idea and good story line and characters so they don't need to create artificial tension.

And I don't know what Nix is on…but I don't think anyone ever suggested that Defying Gravity was an offshoot of Grey's Anatomy. Its a standard hollywood thing to describe a new show by comparing it to existing shows if you can't actually come up with words to describe it properly.

I think, if we're going to use this technique, this show is part DS9, part Apollo 13 and part X-files. I can't stand Grey's Anatomy either, so if that's what's stopping people from watching this… don't. Try it. If you like Sci-fi and you like good writing, you should like this show.

ABC doesn't give a shit about the fans. This show was only getting more interesting, I can't believe they've stopped it. If it isn't mindless average joe crap then the ratings aren't good? WTF Continue catering to the people that like it and stop only thinking about the money.

Hope that whoever pulled the plug on this show wakes up tomorrow with a pile of shit in they bowl of cereal.

I just watched / downloaded the final (13th episode), what an excellent show. It is such a great show I would even watch it again on free-to-air tv if it ever came to Australia. But alas it got canceled, just liked Life-On-Mars, Journey-Man, and New-Amsterdam. I have an idea, with sci-fi they should write them as 13 episode one season only (final), so that when the brainless numbers men pull the plug the viewers at least get a full story. At this rate TV is going to only be full of mindless bubble-gum milk-shake (substance less) 15-minutes-of-fame reality tv.
Sad to see it end.

I don't live in the US but was able to get my hands Defying Gravity – what a breath of fresh air this show is! There are enough instant gratification sci-fi shows that follow the same predefined tired formulas. This is unique, involved, has a well paced story and character development and definitely should continue! Stargate: Universe seems to be trying for strong story progression and characters but ultimately fails where Defying Gravity succeeds. Keep this going – a big thumbs up!

omg it seems like every show i like and really begin to start to watch the day it airs is when it gets canceled or goes on “a mid season break” i work and couldnt watch on tv so i watch at hulu so ofcourse other people did the same and so the ratings were down but as long as it is airing somewhere i will continue to watch and if abc does drop it the i hope they notice the mistake they have made good show ps i have never seen greys anatomy so dont know what to say about that one
