Mr. Wolverine himself is in “talks” for the film “Real Steel”, with a script based on a short story by Richard Matheson, about the day human hand to hand combat for sport is outlawed and robots are put into use to entertain us gladiator style.
Hugh plays a guy down on his luck who can only afford cheap robots but by chance discovers an old robot in a junkpile that still has that old brushed metallic magic. Dreamsworks is putting it together with Shawn Levy directing and writing alongside John Gatins. Producing will be Steven Spielberg, Robert Zemeckis, Jack Rapke and Steve Starkey. Thanks Variety.
