Of course, most of you know that the guy running around in the Darth Vader getup in “Star Wars” was not the owner of Darth’s singular bad ass voice (James Earl Jones) but David Prowse, an English man and a fine sturdy lad, but with a voice like Mr Smithers.
It’s pretty hard to physically act out a character if you don’t say his lines while moving around. David Prowse did say all of Darth’s lines, muffled in a British accent in the big black mask and I’ve got some awesome video and audio to prove it. How Carrie Fisher and crew acted scared while filming their scenes with Darth I’ll never know. Thanks Collider for the good tip.
