I came here looking for Harlan Ellison's opinion of it, but so far I can't find one (but he says he admires Abrams very much). Yeah, the guy is blunt and outspoken, but he's one of the few talents still working that I at least can put up with that for. The contributions he has made to genre fiction are staggering, as is the way he's been mistreated over the years by the very people he has helped with his craft.
