I’m so old that I remember when Tom Selleck was THE man. We used to gather around in the student council lunch room and reminisce about previous episodes. We fellas would wonder in awe at Magnum’s ability to get shot in the same place every episode and still turn out for the next show. The girls would eye flutter at the very mention of the mustached one and on Thursday, the night’s calendar was freed of everything not Hawaiian themed. Those were halcyon days my friends.  Good times.

Tom Selleck and Harrison Ford of course are forever linked in the time space continuum. Tom was offered the part of Indiana Jones but because of his contract in Magnum, was unable to don the whip. What alternate futures, what many worlds quantum weirdness lurks in the warp and weave beneath the illusion of our boring and static reality? In the video below, perhaps King George decided television was a better medium for the Star Wars love. In that alternate future, 80’s T.V. has no mercy and takes no prisoners.
