As a sci-fi fan, there are some great moments in science fiction that makes me sit up and take notice, and remember for years to come. One of those times is when Carrie Fisher suddenly showed up as the prisoner of Jabba the Hut in “Return of the Jedi”. Of course, it wasn’t just Carrie Fisher; it was Carrie Fisher in a gold metal bikini. The sight of Fisher in the revealing bikini, with a chain leash around her neck, to be exact. (Seriously, what kind of phase was George Lucas going through when he came up with that scene?) As a result of that one scene, every sci-fi convention has had its share of women dressing up as Slave Princess Leia, and the world is better for it.
So, in honor of that great moment in sci-fi, we’ll be posting some great moments in Slave Princess Leia costuming every now and then. Why? Because it’s Slave Princess Leia, man. If you have to ask, you just wouldn’t understand anyway.

Since I was a boy (five years old to be precise), I saw “Return of the Jedi” for THE very first time. It was at a movie theatre in the Addison part of Dallas, Texas (my hometown) that is now a Movie Studio Grill location. Now then, as I cut to the chase, when I first saw Princess Leia wearing the now legendary Slave Outfit despite my age, NEVER at all had I an any greater sexual experience (mind you, I kept myself under control at the time.) Of all feminine STAR WARS type wardrobe, this is hands down THE sexiest EVER. In conclusion, not even Padme Amidala’s white costume from Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones is able to measure up to this. With all due respect of course, for Natalie Portman is my MAJOR crush.
Wow, Kristen Bell really owns that look. While the datedness of RotJ probably has something to do with that, she looks a heck of a lot better in that gold bikini suit than Leia ever did! Magnifique!!
