Paramount has released a new image from their upcoming J.J. Abrams directed “Star Trek” reboot movie. The image shows the heavily tattooed Romulan Nero (played by Eric Bana) on the screen talking to young Kirk (Chris Pine) and Spock (Zachary Quinto). No doubt the movie’s baddie is taunting them and what not. It’s what bad guys do, you know.
“Star Trek” or Trek 11 chronicles the early days of a rebellious James T. Kirk and his journey through Starfleet Academy. Romulans show up and bad stuff happens. Hey, it’s Trek. Anything can happen.
Starring Chris Pine, Simon Pegg, Winona Ryder, Zachary Quinto, Eric Bana, Jennifer Morrison, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, and John Cho.
Abrams’ “Star Trek” opens May 8.
