Frist Images from Starship Troopers: Marauders

In case you haven’t heard, but “Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation” wasn’t the last troop action you’re going to get, because part three, “Marauders”, is currently in production with Casper Van Dien and Jolene Blalock. Van Dien, of course, was in the original “Starship Troopers”, and reprises his Johnny Rico character from the 1997 movie. Here’s are some images from the upcoming sci-fi actioner.

In the sequel, Johnny Rico has since been promoted to General, and returns to fight those pesky world-slaying bugs, who have just gotten a lot more dangerous. After the events of “Hero of the Federation”, we learned that the bugs can now take over human hosts. Yikes.

Starring Casper Van Dien, Jolene Blalock, Boris Kodjoe, Amanda Donohoe, and Marnette Patterson. Edward Neumeier, who wrote the previous two installments in the franchise, returns to write and direct.
