In the better to have not made it then to screw it up category, we continue our ongoing coverage of “The Thing” prequel with some icey Norwegian Antarctic base pictures. Not much to elaborate on besides the fact that, as a Canadian and an expert on cold, it looks legit.
“The Thing” stars Joel Edgerton, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and is being directed by Matthijs van Heijningen with a cast of a thousand awesome Norwegians. Of course the original, starring Kurt Russell and directed by John Carpenter, is a gigantic Sci-Fi/Horror classic. The pic looks like what the original Norwegian base looked like.
