First Poster for Rian Johnson’s Looper

Check out the first poster for Rian Johnson’s hitman/time-traveling actioner “Looper”. It stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, here playing a younger version of Bruce Willis. Who knew the kid from “Third Rock from the Sun” would eventually grow up to play a younger version of John McClane? Before “Inception”, I wouldn’t have believed it, but I gotta admit, the kid’s really grown on me as a semi-credible action hero.
In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good… until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination.
The flick also stars Emily Blunt, Piper Perabo, Garret Dillahunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels.
The fun starts September 28, 2012.
