In case you haven’t heard, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will be returning as Mulder and Scully, respectively, on a big screen near you sometime in 2008 in “The X-Files 2″, the sequel to the 1998 “X-Files” movie. Joining them will be the series creator Chris Carter, who will be writing and directing. Now here’s your first look at Duchovny in Mulder garb, joined by new co-star Amanda Peet, who is playing an FBI agent.

Directed by Chris Carter, the thriller co-stars Gillian Anderson, Xzibit and Billy Connolly. 20th Century Fox will release the pic on July 25.

    i am soo excited to see this movie! when i heard they were making a second one i was like OH MY GOD!!! YES!!!
