We get a variety of Sci-Fi news surfers here at SciFiCool from all over the place (Hello Iran) and we are greatful to all the fits and forms of those of you with interests in all that is FI. Some of you may not have heard about Warhammer and it’s insanity. A Warhammer 40K movie is on the way, click away to see why I am so excited.
Codex Pictures has announced UltraMarines, set in the Warhammer 40k universe. Warhammer 40k is a role playing game that has been around for a number of years and features completely over the top and often very humorous, ridiculously violent action. I’ll chuck some pictures in here for you to help you get the gist. The idea here in Warhammer is basically Tolkien’s world of Elves, Orcs, Humans and other techno beasties, all grown up in the far future and at war with really big guns. In Warhammer 40k, war is religion. Good times!
Expect carnage and lets hope a decently sized budget. Humour has always been a big part of either the old school sword and stuff Warhammer and also the Sci-Fi 40k version. I’m hoping the developers keep the slapstick in good ratio to the ultraviolence. Thanks /film for the scoop.
