According to the BBC a feature length spin-off of the long lived British sci-fi series Dr. Who is in development. Barely a blurb in the linked article, this news comes as a pleasant surprise to those who might be fans of the series (and who isn’t?) and I for one look forward to it. No word yet on whether David Tennant is going to play the good doctor on the big screen. I wouldn’t be surprised if the film were to be ‘Hollywoodized’ and rebooted for the general masses with a young, hip and sexy new cast. Or maybe it just might turn out to be good, who the heck knows. For those of you who’ve never seen the show, shame on you. You can catch it on the SciFi Channel, check your local listings.
