Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster in Pandorum

Space is scary enough, but what happens when you wake up onboard a ship, and there’s only one other guy next to you, and you’re both supposed to be on a mission, but neither one of you have any idea what that is? Worst yet, you eventually discover something that may have bad, bad implications for humankind. Yikes. That’s the premise for “Pandorum” a new sci-fi movie from Constantin Film to star Dennis Quaid (pictured, left) and Ben Foster (”3:10 to Yuma”, pictured below).

Variety says the plot goes something like this:

“Pandorum,” penned by Travis Milloy, centers on two crewmen who awaken aboard their spacecraft unaware of their mission or identities and then make a discovery that threatens the survival of mankind.

Christian Alvart (”Antibodies”) directs and Paul W.S. Anderson (”Event Horizon”), no stranger to thrillers in space, will produce for Impact Pictures along with Jeremy Bolt.

Sounds great! But it’s PANDORUM not PANDORIUM (according to Reuters, Variety, Hollywood Reporter and IMDB).

Other than that: I love Ben Foster, Sci-Fi and Alvart’s ANTIBODIES. I’m there. Cheers.

Wow, just 2 guys on a ship? Hope it’s as scary as Event Horizon!
Oh and Ben Foster is a good actor, he did so well on 30 Days of Night.
