BBC is once again mining that old school Sci-Fi magic with their remake of Day Of The Triffids. What’s it all about? Man eating plants! How great is that? After a solar storm, plants created to produce a new oil substitute break free of their human oppressors and begin to enthusiastically munch on the British.
Since I am a Canadian, the BBC seems to think that former colonies are no longer commonwealthy enough to be privy to these three video previews. This does not please me. This not in your region crap has got to stop. There’s bandwidth enough to go around lads. Anyway, I’ll be watching the big show (somehow) when it airs on the BBC on the 28th of this month.
