If you are serious about x files, you would know that the series goes back and forth from alien conspiracy to x file investigations. It is obvious IWTB is the latter and considering it is 6 years after season 9 gels well into the X files chronology. Therefore, based on what CC and team did with the TV series, the movie's have been spot on and true to their core. Bring on X files 3 and the TV series in blu ray! Joseph, spot on mate and well said. I agree with Avril, it was worse than worse of the T.V. shows ... Wnat to say though, I think the movie was affected considerably by impending writers strike at time and they had to finish it lest it not be made at all..... that was a logical explanation to me..... I do hope for a return to form for another go around , go team....Carter and Spotnits...do your thing well this time boys, like we know your capable of...... and add some nice heaping doses of prime suspense and creeps sprinkled throughout , that is must...... that was what was so pitiful about 2nd movied, the ending was totally lacking in thrills or suspense ,,, yuck ,, hate to even remember it....
