I would really like to see a Voltron movie, but they need to scrap that design they currently have and get away from that garbage Transformers look. By that I mean the very little outside metal platting, and showing all the inner workings. If I was an enemy of that Voltron I would just sit back and blast away at all those exposed working parts to make the thing inoperable. I understand wanting to change the original version since it's almost 30 years old and back then all robots had a block-like square look to them, and now people think robots should be all curves, but that thing is just nasty looking. They need to recreate it with a realistic look with defense as well as cool looks, which I really don't think is that hard to do. I'm sure that if 2 teams were given the choice to pilot the original or this version there would be a fight over the original because of common sense. Would you ask somebody in the Air Force to fly a fighter jet into combat with fuel lines, electronics, or anything else outside the plane? They would laugh at you, tell you to go to hell, and they would never go near that plane. Seriously Hollywood, stop coming up with these ridiculous robot designs that show so many weaknesses just because "they look cool" and do them the correct way somebody would want to go into combat with, and yeah you can throw in some style along with it, but don't overwhelm it.

Well Paul Verhoeven has never been shy in saying he was trying to get the rights to Judge Dredd but was turned down so he created robocop (look on the DVD extras they even say early designs looked too much like Judge Dredd) so hopefully this a more a reboot of robocop!

Looking great! Though it's not really a reboot of the Stallone movie as that movie wasn't really judge dredd. Judge dredd was created in the uk in 1977 as a comic and the dredd movie was soooo loosely based on the comic it sucked on a lot of levels (even Stallone said that judge dredd was his biggest regret in film making as it was a missed opportunity). That's the problem with Hollywood getting involved. I can hear the producers of the 95 version now- 'We don't need to look at the comic, though we do need a comedy sidekick'.

I have read both I am Number four, and The power of Six, and I entirely disagree with this reveiw. I think that the Lorien Legacies series has a great plot, and a good deal of back story, and if not to much is given away, it would have been intended to be that way

that is probably because your leftist trash. SG1 and even SGA was to a degree more targeted at conservative to moderate people. SGU was the manifestation of the writers inner liberal nature.

Hence why those who disliked the moral, good nature of SG1 and SGA would find SGU a far "superior" product. Because on many levels the messages of homosexuality, infidelity, ruthlessness and bs drama resonate with you.

In short if you did watch SG1 and SGA you are such a scum sucker you would probably of rooted for the Gould and the Wraiths. AKA your liking of SGU is a reflection of what a scum bag you are.

Here's my list in no particular order since i find the original list to be sorely lacking or including movies that had no right being on a BEST list.

Primer
District 9
Moon
Children of men
Donnie Darko
Star Trek 2009
Serenity
Wall-e (the first hour is pretty great)
Star wars clone wars collection on DVD (so much better than the sequel movies)
minority report

Honorable mention
Equilibrium
I, robot
Sunshine
Vanilla Sky (not a fan of cruise but this has a pretty good sci-fi twist ending)
9 (the animated movie about intelligent toys in a post apocalyptic world)
Riddick
AI

they should bring back the queen who went down into the sea in the end of avp and continue the technology of the predators which was found in the end of avpr.a battle in space would be great but i didnt like avpr much because it was always dark and raining that you cant recognize wolf onscreen.i dont think the aliens and the predator franchises should be mixed, you know, they're both different.avp franchises are different and pls pls pls just atleast leave one predator alive at the end of the movie.im sick of preds dying in the end of movies...it sucks.dont make the movie too dark or else...anyway,give us a plenty lot of scenes that will make us jump and make us say "ooooh, awesome!,cool!,oh yeah!,thats right!,you rock!"
