About two months ago, we reviewed a comic book called “Stranded”, about alien warriors who are put on Earth, and their memories wiped, in preparation for something or another. (You can read our review here.) The comic book was made by Virgin, who have been actively developing comic book properties with the sole intent of turning them into movies or TV series. And now the Sci Fi Channel has officially announced that they are making a TV version of “Stranded”.

Sci Fi Channel is developing a TV series project around “The Stranded,” a property that it created with Virgin Comics, a spokesperson confirmed Monday.
The project centers on a group of regular folks who discovery that they are actually aliens who have extraordinary abilities.
The comic is actually not bad, with a pretty great premise. We’ll see how the TV show develops, though, since comic-to-TV has a way of going wrong.
