Will there be another Batman movie? There’s no doubt in my mind. Will it be a Christopher Nolan directed movie starring Christian Bale and will it follow in the style and quality we have all become accustomed to? Well that is apparently all up in the air according to the intense (but still great) Mr. Bale. Speaking to MTV, Christian Bale speaks the truth. Despite the first two Batman movies of this era making huge reams of money, the director Christopher Nolan is totally the man and will only make another tale of The Batman if or when he gets a great story to tell.
Christian in his own words:
“I truly don’t know that we’re ever going to see another Batman movie,”
“It would be purely that he would need to find a story that was good enough,” said Bale, “and if he couldn’t find that it wouldn’t happen.”
Also in an interview with the MTV guys, Johnny Depp was asked about his possible interest in playing the role of the Riddler in a possible third film.
“If the opportunity came, I’d definitely juggle it,” he said.
A third Batman movie with Christian and Johnny as the Riddler? Oh please yes. Thanks MTV.
