I thought that most of the material in “Chariots Of The Gods” written by Erich Von Daniken way back in 1968 had been pretty much debunked. Obviously it still has some Sci-Fi value.

Basically, to summarize, Aliens came down and built pyramids, of various kinds, for various cultures, throughout the world. They did other things too, like the Easter Island statues and Stonehenge.
