X: The Man With the X-Ray Eyes Remake Gets Director

I’ve never seen the original “X: The Man With the X-Ray Eyes” starring Ray Milland from 1963, and now apparently I won’t have to, because they’re remaking the Roger Corman film with Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (pictured, left) from “28 Weeks Later” directing. I’m not the biggest fan of “28 Weeks Later”, mostly because I thought it was indulgent in its nihilism and had no substance to it whatsoever, but the premise for “X” sounds very cool.
