Now I don’t know if this is true or not, but the people over at TFW2005 says it’s true, and says that they’ve confirmed it, and being that they’re the premiere authority on all things Transformers at the movies, I’m going to go with the assumption that it’s true, but with a caveat: if it turns out not to be true, then, er, you know who to blame! Having said that, there is a major SPOILER concerning one of the female characters in Michael Bay’s sequel to his hugely successful “Transformers” movie. The sequel will be called “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”, and returns most of the original cast (humans and robots), as well as introduce new ones (yes, more humans and robots).
Walmart, of all people, is putting out one 2-minute long behind-the-scenes video from the set of “Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen” every week. The first video is from the set on the very first day of shooting in Bethlehem, PA. The second video features Megan Fox and Shia Labeouf doing their thing on set. And yes, it has been officially confirmed: Megan Fox looks incredible in skin-tight black leather. But then again, what DOESN’T Megan Fox look incredible in? Or out of? Ahem. Both videos below for your perusal pleasure. Walmart will be releasing more in the coming weeks, so check back in.
Holy shit. Are you kidding me? Devastator has been confirmed for an appearance in “Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen”? Oh … my … friggin … GAWD. There were only rumors in the past, but now Transformers site TFW2005 has confirmed that the Decepticon (or Constructicon), a giant friggin’ robot made up of seven different construction vehicles, will indeed be making an appearance. The site doesn’t exactly say who has “confirmed” the appearance to them, but being that they are a Transformers site, I’m going to assume they have some good sources, and go with them. Hey, even if it turns out not to be true, at least these next few days will have me walking through the world like a giddy schoolboy.
Michael Bay = explosions. Big, big ass explosions. What can you say? That’s just how The Bay likes to roll. Here’s a behind-the-scenes shot of a scene from “Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen” (I’m still not crazy about that title; sounds like a toyline instead of a big-time Hollywood movie — or another lame George Lucas “Star Wars” prequel), showing off some massive explosions on a highway. Yup, looks like The Bay’s in fine form.
I know what you’re thinking, “Holy shit, is Michael Bay trying to kill Shia Labeouf or what”? Of course it’s just burnt make-up that is covering the young actor. These shots are from the set of “Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen”, which shows a badly “burned” Shia LaBeouf walking around the set with his shirt off. It’s a good thing he doesn’t have a beer gut, huh? I guess Sam Witwicky’s in for a pretty hard time in the sequel. But hey, at least he has Megan Fox to help him out. Lucky bastard.
To be honest with you, although I run a movie site and it’s my job to know as much as I can about a movie and report it to you guys, I kind of don’t want to know that much about Michael Bay’s upcoming “Transformers 2″. I loved the first one, and it’s killing me that I’m knowing way too much about the sequel. But anyways, a guy’s gotta do what a guy’s gotta do, so here are more details about TF2’s plot, including the current state of Sam and Mikaela’s relationship, and what’s Captain Lennox (aka Josh Duhamel) been up to.
If you’re a diehard “Transformers” fan and is dying to see “Transformers 2″, then you really need to have the Transformers Live Action Movie Blog in your favorites. I don’t know how these guys are getting their stuff, but holy shit, they’re getting them by the bucketloads. The latest (actually, a few days old!) has Australian actress Isabel Lucas and star Shia LaBeouf on location along with Bumblebee. Michael Bay must have a thing for beautiful Australian actresses; Lucas follows in the footsteps of fellow Aussie Rachael Taylor, who was in the first movie.
I swear, I’m not trying to turn this site into a “Transformers 2″ only site, but it just so happens that a lot of TF2 news is coming out this Monday. The latest are pictures of the gorgeous Megan Fox and the not-all-that gorgeous John Turturro on the TF set, currently shooting at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington over the weekend. Shia Labeouf was apparently also there, but the guy who snapped the pictures didn’t get any with him.
I’ll grant you this: when I was a kid, the first TV show I saw when I ran home from school and plop down in front of the TV was Transformers. Loved it. Couldn’t get enough of it. But as it always happens, I grew up, and Transformers grew out of my life. As a result, I never picked up any of the comics (hand-drawn Transformers “transforming” in panels just didn’t quite have the thrill of seeing them doing it on the tube in motion), so I had no idea what “The Fallen” was when the subtitle for “Transformers 2″ was recently revealed as “Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen”.
I have to admit, “Transformers” producer Don Murphy is probably the only Hollywood producer I’ve heard of who actually participates in forums on his own site about his own movies. I’ve heard of directors doing this to get “in touch” with the fans, but producers are usually so high-falutin’ and snobbish, so much props to Murphy for his site. In any case, in one of his posts (here), Murphy links to a blog that reveals the title of TF2 to be “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”. Murphy simply links to the site, and doesn’t say anything else, which would seem to mean it’s true — or false?
