“The Time Traveler’s Wife” is actually less a sci-fi movie than a romantic drama with sci-fi elements. Or, actually, element. See, the hero kinda time-travels. He has no control over it, though, he just time travels whenever, and he doesn’t know where he’ll end up, or when. Then he falls in love with a girl he meets when she’s a little kid (which is kind of creepy, actually), but later, as adults they marry.
