The cable channel and Virgin’s latest effort is “The Stranded”, a sci-fi themed comic book series. “The Stranded” is written by Mike Carey, with art by Siddharth Kotian, and is described as such: In The Stranded, the first Virgin/SciFi book, five ordinary people must face a terrifying question: What if your entire world – your childhood, your family, all your memories – was a lie? And now a deadly, otherworldly force has returned to try and kill them, operating through a twisted, altered human called Janus. [...]

The Sci Fi Channel is getting into the comic book business. They’ve partnered up with Virgin Comics to launch a 5-issue limited series called “The Stranded”, which has a pretty nifty premise. TVGuide.com was given an early preview of the first issue (out of five in total), which was written by Mike Carey and is accompanied by incredibly detailed art by Siddharth Kotian.
