I have to admit, this trailer for “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” is a lot cooler than I thought it would be. Then again, it could just be the melding of techno music with all that sorcery happening onscreen. Nicolas Cage actually looks decent in the role, but there’s one thing the movie misses out on — it neglects to show us the va-va-vooming Monica Bellucci, who co-stars in the movie. Really, guys, when you have someone as gorgeous as Monica Bellucci in your movie, what are you doing NOT showing her? For shame, for shame.

New Sorcerer’s Apprentice Set Pics with Cage and Monica Bellucci
Monica Bellucci is quite possibly one of the most beautiful women in all of cinema, and has been for quite some time now. (If you didn’t fall in love with her in “Malena”, then I don’t know what to tell ya, except, get your eyes fix, bucko.) She’s currently co-starring in Disney’s “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” alongside Nicolas Cage, about wizards who show up in modern New York. Check out some set pics from the movie, featuring Bellucci and Nicolas Cage. I could do without the Cage, but the Bellucci pics? Gorgeous.
Monica Bellucci is a Sorceress
Variety reports that lovely Italian actress turned staple of French cinema Monica Bellucci has joined the cast of Disney’s “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”, currently shooting in New York with Nicolas Cage, under the auspices of Jon Turteltaub (of the “National Treasure” movies). In the fantasy film, Bellucci would play Veronica, a sorceress and the long-lost love of Nicolas Cage’s character, Balthazar Blake, which makes Nicolas Cage one lucky dog.
Set Pics of Nicolas Cage in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice
Here’s your first look at Nicolas Cage and co-star Jay Baruchel on the New York set of their fantasy movie “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”. In the film, Cage plays a sorcerer, and Baruchel is his apprentice, and I guess they time-travel to present day New York City at one point. Or maybe the whole thing is set in the present day, though that wouldn’t explain Cage’s clothes. Pics after the jump.
