		<description><![CDATA[At first glance, the idea behind the new sci-fi movie &#8220;The Ditch&#8221;, which Warner Bros. just bought, sounds a lot like &#8220;Fortress II&#8221; (or hey, even the first &#8220;Fortress&#8221;) with Christopher Lambert &#8212; a sci-fi movie about a sci-fi prison that someone has to break out of or die trying. This time around, the good guy isn&#8217;t a wrongly imprisoned con, but a guard who is forced to help a terrorist escape the prison or die trying.
Variety has more on &#8220;The Ditch&#8221;:
Set in the future, a super maximum-security prison has been constructed on Jupiter&#8217;s moon where Earth&#8217;s worst criminals are incarcerated. When a prison guard&#8217;s family is taken hostage, he is coerced into helping the facility&#8217;s most notorious terrorist, a man who was scheduled to be executed that day, escape.
The screenplay was a spec script by Sascha Penn, a music video producer and documentarian. 
Matt Berenson and Madhouse Entertainment&#8217;s Adam Kolbrenner and Robyn Meisinger will produce the film for Warner [...]]]></description>
