Time travel is a tricky endeavor, and time traveling in movies are even trickier. But if done right, it can be downright great fun. James Mangold (pictured, left, directing in “Walk the Line”) is easily one of the best directors out there who you probably haven’t heard of before. He’s done pretty much every genre you can think of, from cop thrillers (”Copland”) to Westerns (”3:10 to Yuma”) to horror (”Identity”) to musicals (”Walk the Line”) and now he’s looking at sci-fi in “The Archive”, a time-travel movie for Universal Pictures.
