In a late night bidding war brouhaha, the film rights to the “Terminator” franchise was sold to Pacificor for 29.5 million, out bidding both Sony and Lionsgate. The previous owner, Halcyon Holding Corp will get 5 million for every new “Terminator” film and they will get to continue to milk the revenues from Terminator 3 and 4. Terminator 4 (Salvation) made over 350 million worldwide.

Rated R Terminator Salvation BluRay/Dvd Finally Features Moon Boobs
After remembering the lunchbox letdown that was “Terminator: Salvation”, I think back at the edit made to the feature release and how a little more Moon Bloodgood would have made a world of difference.
Finally, the brief, but momentous, Moon Bloodgood topless scene has been added back into the movie along with more delightful, but humourless, man vs killer droid action.
Sam Worthington: The New Sci-Fi And Action Go To Guy
Sam Worthington is probably not a name you might have been familiar with until last weeks “Terminator: Salvation” hit the theatres and unfortunately, the fan. Sam played a dude, who, on the eve of his execution for something heinous, signs over his body to CyberDyne for purposes he could not have suspected.
The Transforminators Are Here
Well you knew it had to happen, and so it has: someone has done a mash-up of “Terminator Salvation” and “Transformers” (“The Transforminators!”), and you know what? It looks better than the actual movie. Then again, what doesn’t look better than the actual movie? Anyways, I love how they incorporate the rest of the franchise into the second half of the clip. You think it’s going to be just the “Transformers 2″ and “Terminator Salvation” clips, but then BAM, they hit you with the rest. Awesome stuff.
Moon Bloodgood On Her Missing Nudity In Terminator: Salvation “It’s a boob”
As you have likely heard, the scene in “Terminator: Salvation” where Moon Bloodgood gets naked in the rain has been edited out of the theatrical version. This is disappointing and kind of strange if the ultimate reason was to lower the rating to PG 13. McG claims this isn’t the case but with all the ultra violence in this movie a little nudity shouldn’t have hurt the rating much. Once again, in North American movies, violence is ok, sex is bad. Moon herself had some words to say about the edit at a recent press thing.
Terminator Salvation (2009) Movie Review
As summer event films go, “Terminator Salvation” blows’em up real good. Lots and lots of times. Heck, sometimes the blowing up goes on for so long and is so excessive that it borders on the absurd. Alas, the film is missing heart, which is ironic since the human heart plays a very pivotal role in this movie about man versus machine, and exactly what constitutes the difference between the two. (Aside from the fact that we bury our dead, I mean.) It gets doubly worst when you realize that this was the writers’ intention all along – this is exactly what they were heading towards from Day 1, even if the final minutes or so seems to have been altered when the film’s originally planned ending was leaked onto the Internet and caused a major fan revolt. To be perfectly honest with you, I think I might have preferred that other ending, if just to put a finer point on this observation: in the canon of the “Terminator” films, “Salvation” falls somewhere between the much-derided “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines” and the Asylum’s copycat film, “Terminators”.
Sam Worthington Interviewed On Being Half Man Half Machine In Terminator: Salvation
Extremely lucky and busy Sci-Fi action movie star Sam Worthington has a lot to say about his role as Marcus Wright in next weeks “Terminator: Salvation”. Among the highlights is a comparison between filming action sequences in Terminator and James Cameron’s “Avatar” and whether he might be back for a possible (probable) sequel. Sam is currently playing Perseus in the currently filming Clash of the Titans. Thanks to Io9 for getting the busy Mr. Worthington to sit down and talk to them.
Terminator: Salvation Blu-Ray Details
The movie isn’t even out yet but already we’re getting some vital information on the blu-ray version of everyones soon to be favorite, bullet spewing, robotic nightmare epic, “Terminator: Salvation”. There’s going to be deleted scenes pilgrims. The Blu will feature 30-40 minutes of the missing footage and wait for it, the Moon Bloodgood topless scene criminally missing from the theatrical release. There’s an alternate ending too but did I mention the Moon in the rain scene is in here? Thanks to Mtv for the good news.
Two Behind-the-Scenes Videos from Terminator Salvation
That’s right, folks, it’s raining “Terminator Salvation” promos. With just a week to go before the movie opens, Warner Bros. is really flooding the net with goodies. This time it’s two more behind-the-scenes video clips from the movie, showing quite a bit, actually. One is about four minutes long, and the other is even longer at around seven minutes. You actually see a lot of plot, and it’s very cool to see the behind-the-scenes stuff without a lot of talking heads telling you what’s going on.
Terminator Salvation’s PG-13 Rating
In the wake of having debunked the notion that he was under pressure to make the latest installment in the Terminator saga less of a bloodfest than perhaps it ought to be, esteemed film director McG recently came to the defense of the PG-13 rating.
Terminator Salvation Clip: Harvester 7-Eleven Attack
Looks more like “Transformers” than “Terminator” was my initial reaction upon seeing the giant Terminator Harvester robot via some concept drawings. The film’s trailer has since been released, and I still don’t dig the look of the Harvester. I don’t get why Skynet needs such a huge friggin robot. Seems very cumbersome and not all that good for going around crushing humanity. But hey, you can’t deny that watching Marcus (the robot guy who doesn’t know he’s a robot played by Sam Worthington) and Kyle Reese (played by young Anton Yelchin, recently of “Star Trek”) fight the Harvester isn’t cool, cause, you know, it is. Here’s a long Harvester clip from the movie, including some behind-the-scenes stuff about the making of said scene.
The Terminator: Salvation Ending?
As you may have read, McG and the powers that be behind “Terminator: Salvation” have made some changes to the ending of Salvation due to some early story leaks. Although we really can’t be sure, this is the ending that was too painful for us to bear.
Five More Terminator Salvation Images
Five more images to add to the batch that we already posted over here. Starring Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin, Moon Bloodgood, Bryce Dallas Howard, Common, Jane Alexander, Helena Bonham Carter, and Jadagrace. McG directs.
A Whack Ton Of New Terminator: Salvation Pictures
For your Saturday enjoyment we’ve got a ridiculous assembly of “Terminator: Salvation” pictures to show you. Most are new to me. There’s a story to be told in this collection. A story of the desperate human battle against grim faced robotic extermination. From these photos we can assume that only the beautiful survive in this horrid possible future. There’s some excellent close up accounts of Terminators and of Moon Bloodgood and the lovely redheaded Bryce Dallas Howard. A click on the small picture in the gallery will blast open a super huge, hi rez version for your enjoyment. Thanks slashfilm.
