They’re baaaaaaaaaack. That’s right, cool kids, the Winchester bros are back to fight them some demons. And, er, the Devil. As you’ll recall, the Devil got himself released at the end of last season, leaving our boys to face the consequences of their actions. Ain’t that a bitch?

Demon-Apocalyptic Trailer for Supernatural Season 5
Finally! I was getting a little disappointed by all the Supernatural Season 5 stuff that I’ve been seeing, mostly how un-apocalyptic it all seemed. Then came this new Season 5 trailer. WOW.
TV Preview: Supernatural 5.01 Sympathy for the Devil
The Winchester boys return next month, September 10 with an all-new Season 5. The whole shebang kicks off with the episode “Sympathy for the Devil”, which judging by the promos below, doesn’t look all that, well post-apocalyptic. At least, I was expecting something on a grander (more horrific) scale after the release of Lucifer at the end of last year and not what looks like more of the same? The girl in the black leather is apparently Meg, another one of Sam’s old “cute girl turns out to be a demon bitch” from the show’s earlier seasons. Ol Sam and Dean’s got plenty of those.
Supernatural Season 4 Recap Video
It’s been a while since we saw the Winchester boys slay some demon scum, and although Season 4 ended with a bang (and the unleashing of Lucifer on Earth, which is never a good thing), it’s easy to forget all the little details that led up to that.
That’s Hawt! Paris Hilton to Guest Star on Supernatural
You know me, I love my Supernatural. Heck, I like the show so much I’m even willing to bend the rules around here and post news about it even though it’s obviously not sci-fi. Now comes news that Paris Hilton will be guest-starring on the show. Wha…?
Supernatural Season 5 Hints, Storylines, and Season 6 Talk
Supernatural was one of the panels at Comic-Con last month that I wanted to attend, but unfortunately it was on a Sunday, one of the few worthy panels in the whole day, and I had to catch a flight earlier in the morning. If I had attended, I would have told you about what show creator Eric Kripke said about the coming Season 5 and the possibility of an additional Season 6, though that’s not a given since the CW hasn’t told the crew if they would be back after this year yet.
Network Sci-Fi/Fantasy Shows: Renewals, Cancellations, and Newcomers
With the networks officially kicking off their upfront presentations this month, we’ve now gotten official (and in some cases, semi-official) confirmations about which shows are coming back, which ones are gone, and what new offerings will be available to the genre fans out there. The schedule for the upfronts are: FOX’s begins today, followed by ABC on Tuesday, and CBS on Wednesday. NBC already did theirs earlier this month.
Misha Collins on Supernatural’s Apocalyptic Season Finale
Ooooh boy. Things are sure heating up on the CW’s Supernatural, quite possibly the only show on that entire network worth watching. Dean and Sam’s really been torn apart (when your brother starts jonesing for demon blood like some crack alley junkie, things have gone downhill), and the angels seem to be up to no good just as much as the demons. One of those angels is played by Misha Collins, and the actor talked to the LA Times about the show’s Season 4 finale, which is airing tonight.
Clips: Supernatural 4.15 Death Takes a Holiday
Four clips from this week’s new episode of Supernatural, “Death Takes a Holiday”, which finds the boys Winchester in a small town where people are mysteriously cheating death. The boys turn to blind psychic hottie Pamela (Traci Dinwiddie) for help to find the truth, which apparently includes leaving their bodies and journeying into the spirit world. Watch your step, boys!
The CW Officially Renews Smallville and Supernatural
Let’s face it, the CW doesn’t have a whole lot of shows for genre fans, unless of course you’re one of those people who loves his Smallville next to his 90210 or one of the network’s other gazillion shows about rich teenagers having promiscuous sex with each other. But it does have Supernatural and Smallville, both of which have been officially renewed for another season.
Promos for Supernatural 4.11 Family Remains and 4.12 Criss Angel is a Douchebag
They’re baaaaaaaaack. Yes, that’s right, demons and freaks (and yes, even some of you angels out there), the Winchester boys are back for some more ass whupping fun. The last time we saw the boys, Dean had just told Sam about his time “down there”, and it was not a happy time for our usually cavalier Dean. So what’s happened since? The first episode back from the show’s Winter hiatus is 4.11, “Family Remains”, which airs later this week. It’s followed next week by 4.12, “Criss Angel is a Douchebag”, which takes place in the world of stage magicians, and makes the case for Criss Angel being a douchebag, one presumes.
Promo Images for Supernatural S04E03: “In the Beginning”
In Episode 3 of Supernatural’s fourth season, we finally get to see where Dean Winchester gets his coolness, when arch angel Castiel (Misha Collins) gives him the opportunity to go back in time to meet his parents (Matt Cohen and Amy Gumenick) just as they’re falling in love. So will Dean use the opportunity to save his mother, who is destined to die at the hands of the Yellow Eye Demon? And would doing so change everything — for the worst?
Supernatural S04E01 “Lazarus Rising” Video Clips
Two video clips from the first episode of Supernatural Season 4 (“Lazarus Rising”) finds Dean showing up at Bobby’s door, alive and well, much to the shock of Bobby (hey, wouldn’t you be?), who does the only logical thing and grabs a knife; the second clip has the Winchester boys and Bobby (apparently having gotten over his slack-jawed shock at seeing Dean alive) visiting hot-to-trot psychic Pamela Barnes, who looks like a potential recurring character and love interest for one of the boys. Check out promo images from the premiere episode over here.
Promo Images for Supernatural S04E02: “Are You There God? It’s Me, Dean Winchester”
You gotta love the title for the second episode of Supernatural’s fourth season: “Are You There God? It’s Me, Dean Winchester”. Whoever came up with that title needs a bonus, but I don’t expect anything less from the Supernatural boys. This is one of those shows that just keeps on churning, not really getting a whole lot of props from a whole lot of places, but if you’ve seen one episode, you’re most likely hooked on the show. That’s exactly what happened to me. I saw the pilot episode a while back, but forgot to follow up on it. Later, when the show was in its second season, I kept running across episodes and found myself really liking it. No surprise that I quickly got all the seasons on DVD and caught up.
Supernatural Episode 4.01 Lazarus Rising Promos
You may or may not have heard by now, but Dean Winchester survives his recent trip to Hell, as seen in the final seconds of the third season’s cliffhanger episode. But how exactly did he return to the land of the living? Was it something Sam did? Maybe, maybe not. We’ll probably find out as the Supernatural Season 4 continues, and how Sam has changed as a result. In the meantime, here are the first promo images from the first episode of Season 4, titled “Lazarus Rising”.
