Another Star Trek Clip: Spock Wants Answers, Dammit

by Nix - on Apr 9th 2009

I get the feeling this is the part of the movie where Spock (Zachary Quinto) loses his Vulcan cool and tries to choke the crap out of Kirk (Chris Pine) via the trailers. Then again, from what I’ve seen, young Kirk seems to be a bit of a cocky dick, so maybe Spock had no choice but to choke some humble pie into the tool. Anyways, latest clip from Abrams’ totally un-Trek like Trek reboot after the jump.

Will Fringe Reveal A Logical Villain?

by endymi0n - on Apr 8th 2009

nimoyIt has been rumoured by an anonymous source, via Fringe Television, that Mr. Leonard Nimoy will guest as William Bell, former partner of Walter Bishop (played by the simply excellent John Noble) and founder of the sketchy and mysterious Massive Dynamics, a company of dark technology staffed with ne’re-do-wells. This is a very credible rumour as the co-creators of Fringe are Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, the golden boys behind “Star Trek”.

Video Footage From Sneaky Alamo Star Trek Showing

by endymi0n - on Apr 7th 2009

star-trek-trailerWe return again to Austin, Texas. This time we come with mighty footage of the event itself, where a sneaky screening of “Star Trek” was shown at a supposed Wraith of Khan showing. As I mentioned earlier, Spock himself was there to introduce the movie. Grown men were seen to weep. I myself tear up at the very thought of seeing the logical one in person.

by endymi0n - on Apr 7th 2009

star-trek-trailerA screening for Star Trek 2: The Wraith Of Khan, in Austin Texas, at the supposedly amazing Alamo Drafthouse, turned out to be a clever ruse to actually present the first public screening of everyone’s favorite pointy earred, brow lifting, full frontal phaser epic “Star Trek”.

Star Trek: TNG Cast Reunites on Family Guy

by Nix - on Mar 31st 2009

If you’ve been waiting to see the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation reunite on TV, you’re in luck, because they just did. Well, in animated form and it was on the hit-and-miss show Family Guy, but hey, a reunion is a reunion, right? The episode is called “Not All Dogs Go to Heaven”, and features Stewie (the show’s evil toddler genius) creating a teleporter ala the show and beaming the cast to his bedroom, then they go out for burgers. No, really.

New Batch of Star Trek 11 Images

by Nix - on Mar 31st 2009

With its May 8 release date coming up fast, you’re starting to see and hear a whole lot about J.J. Abrams’ Trek reboot. Some new batch of images from the movie that I haven’t seen before have also landed online, including the very tantalizing view of Rachel Nichols (or is that Diora Baird?) as a green-skinned Orion. Endymi0n has already posted a couple of the new images here, but here are the rest of them.
