Visual effects people get all the loving. The fast cars, the pretty girls and all the bling for the Hollywood scene just rains down on them. While the visual effects people are lounging by the pool, waiting for the days and days it takes to render their splashy neon pew pew on your latest Sci-Fi epic, the sounds dudes are crammed into Russian trains, clacking along into the frozen yak filled steppes, recording toilets flushing.

Apparently, there is a “juicy” rumour that J.J. Abrams and company have one man in mind when they think villain for the so far officially unannounced “Star Trek 2″. So obviously the first reboot of the whole Star Trek thing went pretty well. The movie made a ton of money and was sparkly and amused the muggles. I really enjoyed it when I was watching it, but thinking back, the story was a little weak.
